                 A passion! A passion that marked my blood at a very young age. I must’ve been 10 years old when I looked at my dad’s fly rod witch he barely ever used, and started remembering him catching a few trout with it on the Upsalquitch Lake. Tips for releasing a fish correctly

Reasons are obvious : Bigger fishes Healthy species Healthy rivers and lakes Fishes are beautiful What’s your reason? Here are a few tips to help you release a fish correctly : Do not keep it out of the water for too long. You know a fish can’t breathe out of water don’t you? Sounds pretty obvous. Play soft. Make sure you do not hurt the fish while bringing it to shore. Keep the line tight but if you’re using a heavy rod with a 30 lb wire, it’s useless to fight too hard as the fish has no ways of letting go. Soften or...
